Virtue - Enjoyment

Enjoyment is often misunderstood as pleasure, indulgence, or something earned after effort. In the Algorithm of You® framework, enjoyment is something entirely different. It is feedback.

 

This 30-minute mini teaching explores the Virtue of Enjoyment as an essential part of emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation, and aligned decision-making. When enjoyment is present, the body and subconscious register safety, sustainability, and coherence. When it is absent, patterns often shift into endurance, over-responsibility, or self-abandonment without awareness.

In this session, you’ll learn:

  • Why enjoyment is a form of internal data, not a reward

  • How early experiences program enjoyment out of the emotional algorithm

  • The difference between enjoyment, pleasure, and relief

  • How lack of enjoyment reinforces pressure-based behavior and burnout

  • Simple awareness tools to reintroduce enjoyment without forcing or guilt

  • Have learned to function without joy in order to feel safe

  • Confuse productivity or calm with alignment
